WOT Lagos Montemar

The hotel is located in a good place, there are two bus stops in front of the hotel, good restaurants nearby. Small basic goods shop and Spar within walking distance. It is not a completely quiet place, but there is definitely no traffic at night. The staff helpful and kind. Simple room, good bed, nice bathroom, functional, if somewhat noisy, air conditioning. WI-Fi reliable. Good breakfast. There is a "safe" in the description of the room, in reality it is just a small metal box, enough for cash and cards in size.

Perfect location - The hotel is in a roundabout. But don’t panic like I did in my first day there 😀take tfirst right ,10 min walking to the most beautiful beaches from Algarve. Second right - you are in the old town where you’ll find all what you need- amazing food, great drinks, shopping. You’re also close to the Lagos Marina. The room was spacious and clean, same the bathroom. It would be too small for a couple , but for a solo traveler was perfect .

We stayed at the hotel for four nights and were really satisfied. The personal was very nice and helpful, the rooms and the floor were clean. The breakfast is basic (without eggs - if someone really needs that) but it was sufficient. We liked the location and the parking lot was pretty big, we always found a spot. The Spar was only 3 minutes by walk away from the hotel. Overall a great stay.

The property has an amazing location. Walkable distance to all the famous beaches such asa Dona Ana or Do Camilo. Close to the city center and like 20 mins walk to the Lagos Marina where u can rent different boat trips from. 20 mins walk to the main bus station as well. The room was very clean and nice with a generous balcony. All the stuff members were extremely nice and polite, always receiving us with a smile and helping us with all the requests. Therefore, I would totally recommend the hotel since the value for money was again very good.

We stayed for two nights here and have no regrets. Room was clean, good size and the buffet breakfast was excellent which kept us full until mid afternoon. Location was perfect to visit surrounding beaches and the centre by walking distance even though we had the car. Parking was good, we found on the two days (there is a free parking across the hotel or else other parking slots for non residents further down) The receptionists were very kind and friendly also, which it was a plus. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting amazing Lagos!
